3 Life Lessons from Bubbles

Yesterday was Easter Sunday. He is Risen! Thank You Jesus.

In the midst of preparing for and helping to host my family's Easter Brunch, my little sister and I had some time to play with bubbles! While we were having fun chasing the bubbles and making up random bubble contests, I realized how some simple bubble lessons can also be applied to life in general. Here are the three that I can articulate the best:
  1. Bubbles created by the wind are prettier. Sometimes if you let go and go with the flow, the outcome of your situation can be so beautiful.
  2. More air = bigger bubbles. The more time you put in to something, the greater the rewards.
  3. Too much air will cause the bubble to pop before it even gets a chance to float away. You also need to learn when to let things go.
Just thinking! :)

Have a Blessed week!

50 Uses for Coconut Oil!

Coconut! I love it. It's such a delicious topping for desserts and a really nice flavor in chocolates. But what about Coconut Oil? It's pretty amazing as well.

Check out this link that describes 50 Uses for Coconut Oil!

Here are my favorite 10:

  1. Eye makeup remover
  2. Stir-frying and sauteing
  3. Skin moisturizer
  4. Hair deep conditioner
  5. Hair growth stimulation
  6. Topical bacterial infection killer
  7. Daily energy boost
  8. Eliminating dogs' bad breath
  9. Healthy thyroid function boost
  10. Lip balm

If you're considering a diet change, try adding in some coconut oil! You'll definitely notice to taste upgrade and your body will thank anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antioxidant properties coconut oil will bring!

Jewel's Random TidBits - My mom has been making her own coconut oil for some time now. She grates fresh coconut, blends it, squeezes out the juice/milk, cooks down the juice, let's it sit overnight, and the white solid that forms on top is coconut oil! :)

HONEY REVIEW! PureBeeing Honey Made Sweeter with Music

I've always known that music is good for the soul but I recently found out how it can also be good for...honey!

Yes! I know it's strange....

At some point last year, my mother received a jar of PureBeeing honey as a gift. Eager to try something new, I decided to taste it. It was DELICIOUS! I generally like honey but my common complaint is that many brands have a slightly bitter after-taste. This brand is completely different! It's sweet and smooth and goes very well with a nice cup of tea.

After enjoying some hot tea with milk and PureBeeing honey, I decided to research more about the brand. I didn't have to go much further than their website to understand how they're so unique. They play music in their apiary 24/7! That's such a good idea and the results are delicious!

PureBeeing Honey is based in Galveston, TX and you can learn more about where its sold on their Facebook page.

.....Now I want some tea....with milk and honey.....

Jewel's Random TidBits - An apiary is a bee yard and beekeepers are also known as apiarists.
